This wine comes from our La Calleja, Barroso and La Trinitaria estates, with vineyards that are over 35 years old. The soils are poor, sandy and gravelly, mixed with some clay. Territories that define the typicity of the wines produced in Balbás. The harvest is carried out by hand, waiting for the optimal maturation of each estate. Since the cluster is separated from the vine, not a time greater than 2 hours to avoid any oxidation of the grapes before entering the winery. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks using only the indigenous yeast of the grape.
Cherry red color with violet tones. Powerful on the nose, with subtle and pleasant aromas of vanilla. Significant presence of mineralized red fruit that reminds us of its terroir. Its flavor is powerful, meaty. It is the prelude to its long life in the bottle.
